The IS31FL3236A-QFLS2-TR is a LED Lighting Drivers LED Driver IC produced by ISSI. It is an LED driver IC that contains 36 channels and can drive 36 individual LEDs. It works with external PWM dimming to achieve a wide dynamic range of lighting effects. It features three digital dimming modes that allow the user to change the duty cycle of the current being driven to the LED for different lighting effects. The PWM dimming mode provides control of the light intensity from 1% to 100%, while the linear dimming varies the LED current linearly from 0mA to the current set by the external resistor and the contrast dimming mode provides contrast between on and off states of the LED's. Other features include a dynamic current source with thermal monitoring and protection, programmable LED open and short circuit protection and built-in power failure detection and recovery. This driver IC is suitable for applications in LED lighting, such as car lights, backlight displays and more.
