Additional Infomation About Product

This is a silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR) power thyristor, with a thyristor-triac combination, produced by IXYS Corporation. It is supplied in an industry-standard TO-247AD package, and is rated at 1200 Volts and 80 Amps. This SCR is suitable for voltage and current phase control applications in systems up to 20 kHz. It features a gate trigger voltage of 4 to 6 Volts, with a trigger current at least 1.5 to 5 mA. This CLA80MT1200NHB SCR has an encapsulated type gate connection and a standard type lead connection. It has a high switching capability and exhibits fast switching speeds. The unit is UL recognized and RoHS compliant.
