CPC6826 High Voltage EL Lamp Driver Features Description 1.8V to 3.5V Supply Voltage Clares CPC6826 is an electroluminescent (EL) lamp DC to AC Conversion driver that is designed for applications operating with Adjustable Output Frequency an input supply voltage range of 1.8V to 3.5V. The Adjustable Switch Frequency CPC6826 can also be used in a split-supply Output Voltage Regulation configuration, which enables the designer to specify Enable/Disable Function operation with an input voltage as low as 1.5V. Split Power Supply Capability < 100nA Shutdown Current Only five passive, external components are required: an inductor, a capacitor, and a diode to complete the boost switcher circuit and two resistors to set the Applications frequency of the two internal oscillators. These few Mobile Cellular Phones components and the CPC6826 together generate the Pagers typical 170V AC signal required to drive an EL P-P Portable Transceivers lamp.
