MX856/MX857 Single Driver for Attenuators and GaAs FET Switches INTEGRATED CIRCUITS DIVISION Characteristics Description The MX856 and MX857 are high speed, Parameter Rating Units single-channel level shifters with complementary Output Voltage 20 V output drivers. The MX856 features a 5.0V V CC Output Rise Time 5 ns positive supply, and the MX857 features a 3.3V V CC Output Fall Time 5 ns positive supply. The input buffers accept digital TTL or CMOS level Features signals, amplifies them to the V and GND supply CC CMOS Technology rails, and generates complementary outputs. The TTL/CMOS Compatible Inputs translator level shifts these output signals by Low Switching Noise amplifying them to the V and V supply rails. CC EE 5nS Typical True / Complement Output Skew 5nS Typical Output Rise and Fall Times The output drivers then buffer the signals to V and Up to 20V Output Voltage OPT V . V may be set within the range of V and Output High Voltage Programmable Via V EE OPT CC OPT GND. The output drivers also adjust the Output Low Voltage Programmable Via V EE complementary signals for minimized skew error.
