OMA150 is a hybrid, bidirectional active neutral point clamped (ANPC) insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) module manufactured by IXYS. It uses the latest in switching technology featuring high-efficiency, low-loss operation to provide unprecedented density and low energy consumption. The device is available in single, dual and tri-phase configurations, making it suitable for applications such as electric vehicle propulsion, high-frequency switching and unified power factor correction (UPFC) in various industries. The module is capable of up to 4100A continuous current and 600V blocking voltage, while delivering superior switching performance with rapid turn-on and fast turn-off. It includes an integrated temperature monitor and short circuit latch, providing excellent protection and monitoring. The module offers thermal performance, EMI/RFI shield, vibration and shock capabilities and is easily configured with external components.
