This type of tape is designed specifically to measure the hardness of hard steel, such as tool and die steels, as well as special hardened steels. The unique design of the MHC-300-14 allows for multiple readings to be taken quickly and easily, saving time and money. The scaling of the tape also allows for accurate readings to be taken and for data to be recorded. The tape is made with a durable metal base and coated with a special marking scale which is easy to read and reference. With the MHC-300-14, measuring steel hardness has never been easier.
