The KEW6016 is a portable loop/insulation/Polarity tester from Kyoritsu. It is designed for testing low-voltage circuitry, such as for safety testing of cords and plugs. The tester features three tests: loop testing, insulation testing, and polarity testing. It is easy to use, with visual and audible results, and can test AC & DC circuits at up to 600V. Other features include a bright LCD backlit screen for easy operation in dark places, and a portability of up to 4kV (with optional high-voltage extension). It is a suitable choice for contractors and electricians in the field, as well as maintenance personnel who need to quickly and reliably check circuits.
