GND GND GND TVS Diode Array (SPA Diodes) Lightnign Surge Protection - SP2555NUTG RoHS Pb GREEN SP2555NUTG 2.5V 45A Diode Array Description The SP2555NUTG is a low-capacitance, TVS Diode Array designed to provide protection against ESD (electrostatic discharge), CDE (cable discharge events), EFT (electrical fast transients), and lightning induced surges for high- speed, differential data lines. Its packaged in a DFN package (3.0 x 2.0mm) and each component can protect up 4 channels or 2 differential pairs, up to 45A (IEC 61000- nd 4- 5 2 edition,) and up to 30kV ESD (IEC 61000-4-2). The flow-through design minimizes signal distortion, reduces voltage overshoot, and provides a simplified PCB design. The SP2555NUTG with its low capacitance and low clamping voltage makes it ideal for high-speed data interfaces such as 1GbE applications found in notebooks, switches, etc. Pinout Features ESD, IEC 61000-4-2, DFN-10 package is Top View Bottom View 30kV contact, 30kV air optimized for high-speed 1 2 3 4 5 10 9 8 7 6 data line routing EFT, IEC 61000-4-4, 40A (5/50ns) Provides protection for two differential data pairs Lightning, 45A (8/20s as (4 channels) up to 45A defined in IEC 61000-4-5 2nd Edition) Low operating and clamping voltage Low capacitance of 2.5pF 0V (TYP) per I/O AEC-Q101 qualified 1 2 3 4 5 10 9 8 7 6 Low leakage current of Halogen free, Lead free NOTE: PIN3, PIN8 are same potential with GND 0.1A (TYP) at 2.5V and RoHS compliant Functional Block Diagram Applications 10/100/1000 Ethernet LVDS Interfaces LINE1 IN (Pin 1) LINE1 OUT (Pin 10) WAN/LAN Equipment Integrated Magnetics Desktops, Servers and Smart TV LINE2 IN (Pin 2) LINE2 OUT (Pin 9) Notebooks Application Example RJ -45 Connector Ethernet PHY GND GND TP0+ TP0- TP1+ LINE3 IN (Pin 4) LINE3 OUT (Pin 7) TP1- TP2+ LINE4 OUT (Pin 6) LINE4 IN (Pin 5) TP2- TP3+ TP3- Life Support Note: Not Intended for Use in Life Support or Life Saving Applications SP2574N SP2555 The products shown herein are not designed for use in life sustaining or life saving applications unless otherwise expressly indicated. 2019 Littelfuse, Inc.
