KRESS16 Lumberg

KRESS16 is part of the Lumberg Automation interface family and is a 16-pole plug connector. It is an industry standard plug/socket connector and is used for various industrial applications such as for connecting sensor and actuator controls as well as for transmitting signals and power. The plug and socket are usually used together and are designed to be protected against dust, water, vibration, chemicals and low temperatures. The connector is designed to be durable, easy to use and has a high IP-rating (IP67) so it is protected against dust and water ingress. The plug and socket both have sixteen pins which allow up to sixteen discreet signals to be transmitted between devices. It provides full signal compatibility with Profinet and Profibus protocols and is available with either standard signal contacts or with optional built-in standard voltage/current signal modules. The signal contact configuration is M16x1.5 which allows for secure and reliable connections.
