Additional Infomation About Product

The MT8315A is a programmable miniaturized magnetic sensor integrated circuit (IC) in a TO-92 RoHS package manufactured by MagnTek. It uses Hall effect technology to detect the direction and magnitude of a magnetic field. The Hall effect principle allows the chip to effectively output an analog voltage signal in proportion to the magnitude and sign (polarity) of the magnetic field. The analog output can be easily read and conditioned using an external circuit. The MT8315A can operate over a wide temperature range and has a 4-pin design for easy power supply and readout. The MT8315A uses magnetoresistive technology, which makes it highly immune to electromagnetic interference.
