Additional Infomation About Product

The MT8901AT-SS is a magnetic sensor designed and manufactured by MagnTek. It is a SOT-23-6L RoHS part, meaning it is a surface-mount package that contains six pins in a rectangular, 0.120" x 0.180" (3.05mm x 4.57mm) body and is compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS). The device is a Hall-effect switch consisting of a Hall-effect element and output driver in one small package. It is excellent for applications requiring a low-voltage, low-power solution and is capable of detecting magnetic field changes with accuracy. The device includes an internal back bias circuit and magnetic lockout feature. It has a turn-on threshold of -25mT to +25mT, with a maximum input field of 500mT. The MT8901AT-SS operates over a -40°C to +85°C temperature range and operates best when combined with a pull-up resistor for correct operation.
