SP3232EET-LTR MaxLinear

The SP3232EET-LTR is a low power 120 kbps full duplex true RS-232 transceiver manufactured by MaxLinear. This device is part of the SP3232E series and is housed in a WSOIC-16 package, which measures 4.90 mm x 9.82 mm. It operates from a single 5.5 V supply, and includes two complementary transmitters (T1 and T2) that are utilized to drive data lines in either direction. The transceiver also includes a fast wake up receiver (R1) with an adjustable hysteresis level to quickly react to changes in the signal levels, and provides immunity to spurious signals. The device utilizes fractional-N phase-locked-loop (PLL) technology to achieve the full 120 kbps data rate and low power requirements. The SP3232EET-LTR also features an integrated ESD protection circuit, as well as a power-down control input to provide additional power savings.
