The TH72001KDC-TU is a current-mode boost converter controller manufactured by Melexis. It has a wide input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V, making it ideal for applications that require a high power conversion ratio (PCR). It features an adjustable switching frequency, dynamic on-time control, integrated soft-start, and low quiescent current. The controller provides short-circuit protection, thermal overload protection, current peak limiting, and over-voltage protection. Additionally, the TH72001KDC-TU has built-in flicker detection and nominal load to support PFC regulation. Finally, the device is supplied in a standard SO-8 package for ease of mounting.
