The DM330023-3 with Power Management IC Development Tools dsPICDEM MCHV-3 Development System is a multi-purpose development board designed and manufactured by Microchip. This development system enables rapid design, development, evaluation, and application of advanced power management solutions. The development board is an 8-layer designed PCB with various component distributions and groupings. It consists of two independent evaluation boards – a Master board and a Daughter board. The Master board contains the on-board MCU, dsPIC33CH256MP502, a voltage regulator, USB power port connector, 4 user-programmable LEDs, 4 user-programmable push buttons, 2 user-programmable potentiometers, 4 general purpose I/O. The Daughter board contains three low-dropout voltage regulators, an I2C/icSP bus, an LCD connector, a two-pin terminal block for external power supply connection, and a 26-pin serial to debug/program module connector. This development board also provides solutions for non-volatile digital signal control, analog signal control, communication, monitoring, and system control applications. The board extends the functionality of the dsPIC33CH256MP502 MCU to help developers gain the most out of their power management solutions.
