The DSPIC33EV256GM104-I/ML is a high performance Digital Signal Controller (DSC) from Microchip Technology featuring features such as an integrated 16-bit Digital Signal Processor (DSP), an integrated Flash Memory of 256 Kbytes, up to 36 MIPS dsPIC33E Core Performance, up to 37 Channel Input Capture/Output Compare/PWM and Peripheral Pin Select. It also has an edSignal™ Flash Runner Instruction Set Architecture (ISA) to reduce code size and improve performance. The device has Peripheral Pin Select Architecture, which allows any device pin to be used as an I/O pin and a wide range of peripherals such as analog to digital converters, serial communications (I2C, UART, SPI) and timers.
