The MCP4922-E/P is a dual-channel 12bit D/A converter and voltage output digital-to-analog converter (DAC) manufactured by Microchip. It operates from a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply and is available in a DIP14 package. The device has an output voltage range of 0V to VDD and delivers high linearity performance with a maximum integral linearity (INL) of ±12LSB. Each of the two channels includes an output buffer amplifier, allowing loading of high reference voltages with external resistors. It features fast z-domain settling, 1µs at 10V step, and low temperature drift, 2.5ppm/°C. The specific device provides SPI-compatible serial interface and features a power-on reset with ramped up to midscale or user-defined levels.
