MIC28513 45V , 4A Synchronous Buck Regulator IN Features General Description 4.6V to 45V Operating Input Voltage Supply The MIC28513 is a synchronous step-down switching regulator with internal power switches capable of Up to 4A Output Current providing up to 4A output current from a wide input Integrated High-Side and Low-Side N-Channel supply range from 4.6V to 45V. The output voltage is MOSFETs adjustable down to 0.8V with a guaranteed accuracy of (MIC28513-1) and Hyper HyperLight Load 1%. A constant switching frequency can be Speed Control (MIC28513-2) Architecture programmed from 200 kHz to 680 kHz. The Enable Input and Power Good (PGOOD) Output and HyperLight MIC28513s Hyper Speed Control Programmable Current-Limit and Foldback Load architectures allow for high V (low V ) IN OUT Hiccup Mode Short-Circuit Protection operation and ultra-fast transient response while reducing the required output capacitance. The Built-In 5V Regulator for Single-Supply Operation MIC28513-1s HyperLight Load architecture also Adjustable 200 kHz to 680 kHz Switching provides very good light load efficiency. Frequency Fixed 5 ms Soft-Start The MIC28513 offers a full suite of features to ensure protection under fault conditions. These include Internal Compensation and Thermal Shutdown undervoltage lockout to ensure proper operation under Thermally-Enhanced 24-Pin 3 mm x 4 mm FQFN power sag conditions, internal soft-start to reduce Package inrush current, foldback current limit, hiccup mode 40C to +125C Junction Temperature Range short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown.
