The MIC4423ZN Gate Driver 3A Dual High Speed MOSFET Driver (Lead Free) from Microchip is a high performance, high speed logic-level gate driver with dual MOSFET output stages. The driver uses highly optimized circuitry to provide up to 3A of peak output current with very low on-resistance of 30mO typical, controlled turn-on/turn-off slopes, high dV/dt immunity, and highly shielded desaturation protection. With low RDS(ON) MOSFETs, this device is highly efficient and suitable for a variety of switching applications, including DC-DC regulators, motor drivers, and solenoid drivers. This device also features very low dead time for simultaneous turn-on/turn-off of outputs for applications in motor drives and half bridge circuits. Its integrated protection features provide overcurrent, undervoltage and overvoltage protection for enhanced reliability and system safety. The MIC4423ZN is available in the Green 8-pin SOIC, SOICW, and MSOP packages.
