MIC5236 Low Quiescent Current Cap LDO Regulator Features General Description Ultra-Low Quiescent Current (I = 20 A I = The MIC5236 is a low quiescent current, Cap Q O 100 A) low-dropout regulator. With a maximum operating input voltage of 30V and a quiescent current of 20 A, it is Wide Input Range: 2.3V to 30V ideal for supplying keep-alive power in systems with Low Dropout: high-voltage batteries. - 230 mV 50 mA Capable of 150 mA output, the MIC5236 has a dropout - 300 mV 150 mA voltage of only 300 mV. It can also survive an input Fixed 2.5V, 3.0V, 3.3V, 5.0V, and Adjustable transient of 20V to +60V. Outputs As a Cap LDO, the MIC5236 is stable with either a 1.0% Initial Output Accuracy ceramic or a tantalum output capacitor. It only requires Stable with Ceramic or Tantalum Output Capacitor a 1.0 F output capacitor for stability. Load Dump Protection: 20V to +60V Input The MIC5236 includes a logic compatible enable input Transient Survivability and an undervoltage error flag indicator.
