The PIC18F4331-I/P is a low-power, high-performance 8-bit microcontroller from Microchip. It is part of the Mid-Range family of microcontrollers and is based on the Enhanced Mid-range architecture which allows for a wide range of performance, price, and flexibility. It is capable of running up to 48MIPS (20MHz) at 3V, and can support up to 32KB of program memory and 3KB of RAM. It features a 12-bit Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) module, 2 Capture/Compare PWM modules, and up to 4 external interrupts. In addition, it has 3 comparators, an on-board oscillator, 4 USARTs, 4 Timers and 14 I/O ports.
