Additional Infomation About Product

The RN4871-I/RM130 is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module manufactured by Microchip. It is an embedded system which contains an integrated Bluetooth system that is compliant with the Bluetooth 4.2 specification. The chip is designed for applications requiring an ultra-low power Bluetooth radio. It has a proprietary ASCII command interface, which makes it simple to configure and control the module. The RN4871-I/RM130 also features a single-chip Bluetooth solution which is highly integrated to save board size and cost. The package dimensions are 9x11.5mm and it has an integrated antenna, with an externally supplied shield. Additionally, the module has on chip hardware security to protect against unauthorized access and data tampering.
