SG1526B/SG2526B/SG3526B REGULATING PULSE WIDTH MODULATOR FEATURES DESCRIPTION 8V to 35V Operation The SG1526B is a high-performance pulse width modulator 5V Low drift 1% Bandgap Reference for switching power supplies which offers improved 1Hz to 500kHz Oscillator Range functional and electrical characteristics over the industry- Dual 100mA Source/Sink standard SG1526. A direct pin-for-pin replacement for the Digital Current Limiting earlier device with all its features, it incorporates the Double Pulse Suppression following enhancements: a bandgap reference circuit for Programmable Deadtime improved regulation and drift characteristics, improved Improved Undervoltage Lockout undervoltage lockout, lower temperature coefficients on Single Pulse Metering oscillator frequency and current-sense threshold, tighter Programmable Soft-start tolerance on softstart time, much faster SHUTDOWN Wide current Limit Common Mode Range response, improved double-pulse supperession logic for TTL/CMOS Compatible Logic Ports higher speed operation, and an improved output driver Symmetry Correction Capability design with low shoot-through current, and faster rise and Guaranteed 6 Unit Synchronization fall times. This versatile device can be used to implement Shoot-through Currents Less than 100mA single-ended or push-pull switching regulators of either Improved Shutdown Delay polarity, both transformerless and transformer-coupled. The Improved Rise and Fall Time SG1526B is specified for operation over the full military ambient temperature range of -55C to 150C.
