MagAlpha MA302 12-Bit, Digital, Contactless Angle Sensor with ABZ & UVW Incremental Outputs DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MA302 detects the absolute angular 12-Bit Resolution Absolute Angle Encoder position of a permanent magnet, typically a Contactless Sensing for Long Life diametrically magnetized cylinder on a rotating SPI Serial Interface for Digital Angle Readout shaft. Fast data acquisition and processing and Chip Configuration provide accurate angle measurement at speeds Incremental 10-Bit ABZ Quadrature Encoder from 0 to 60,000 rpm. Interface with Programmable Pulses Per Turn from 1 to 256 The MA302 supports a wide range of magnetic UVW Interface with 1 to 8 Pole Pair field strengths and spatial configurations. Both Emulation end-of-shaft and off-axis (side-shaft mounting) Programmable Magnetic Field Strength configurations are supported.
