MP1530 Triple Output Step-Up Plus Linear Regulators for TFT Bias The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP1530 combines a triple output step-up 2.7 to 5.5V Operating Input Range converter with linear regulators to provide a 2.8A Switch Current Limit complete DC/DC solution. It is designed to 3 Outputs In a Single Package power TFT LCD panels from a regulated 3.3V Step-Up Converter up to 22V or 5V supply. Positive 20mA Linear Regulator Negative 20mA Linear Regulator This device integrates a 1.4MHz 250m Internal Power MOSFET Switch fixed-frequency step-up converter with positive Up to 95% Efficiency and negative linear regulators. The step-up 1.4MHz Fixed Frequency converter switch node drives two charge pumps, which supply powers to their respective Internal Power-On Sequencing linear regulators. The positive and negative Adjustable Soft-Start/Fault Timer linear regulator inputs can withstand up to 38V Cycle-by-Cycle Over Current Protection and down to -20V, respectively. Under Voltage Lockout Ready Flag A single on/off control enables all 3 outputs. 16-Pin, QFN (3x3mm) or TSSOP Packages The outputs are internally sequenced at startup for ease of use. An internal soft-start prevents APPLICATIONS input overload at startup. Cycle-by-cycle current TFT LCD Displays limiting reduces component stress. Portable DVD Players The MP1530 is available in a tiny 3x3mm, 16- Tablet PCs pin QFN package or a 16-pin TSSOP package.
