MP2491C 32V, 6A, Step-Down Converter with Programmable Current Limit and Output Voltage Scaling Control DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP2491C is a fully integrated, high-voltage, Wide 4.0V to 32V Operating Input Range step-down converter. The MP2491C can 0.5V to 30V Output Voltage Range achieve 6A of continuous output current with 6A Output Current excellent load and line regulation over a wide Constant-on-Time (COT) Control input supply range. Two Dedicate Voltage Scaling Control Pins Slew Rate Control during DVS Constant-on-time (COT) control operation provides very fast transient response, easy loop Low Dropout Mode Operation design, and very tight output regulation. 33m/22m Internal MOSFET Switches 450A I Q Full protection features include over-current Fixed 490kHz Switching Frequency protection (OCP), hiccup current limiting, output Output Line Drop Compensation when V = FB over-voltage protection (OVP), and thermal 0.5V shutdown. EN Shutdown Discharge The MP2491C requires a minimal number of Output Over-Voltage Protection (OVP) readily available, standard, external Adjustable Auto-PFM/PWM Mode or Forced components and is available in a QFN-13 PWM Mode (2.5mmx3mm) package.
