MP2603 Single-Cell 150mA Linear Li-Ion Battery Charger The Future of Analog IC Technology FEATURES DESCRIPTION V Surge Up to 25V IN The MP2603 is a low cost single cell Li-ion 0.75% V Accuracy BATT battery charger IC suitable for low charge Low Battery Reverse Current, (< 1uA) current applications. It features constant current Programmable Charge Current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) charging Over Temperature Protection modes with programmable charge current Over Current Protection (50mA150mA), trickle charge and charge status indication. Charge Status Indication Over Charge Protection The MP2603 is enabled with an input supply No External Sense Resistor Required voltage greater than 3.5V. The charger IC is No External Reverse Blocking Diode Required disabled when unplugged from the AC adaptor. No Output Capacitor Required for Stability To minimize the chargers total solution cost, the MP2603 does not need an external reverse APPLICATIONS blocking diode, a precision current-sense Bluetooth Headset resistor or a compensation capacitor at the MP3 Players output.
