MP6551 14V, 5A, H-Bridge Motor Driver DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP6551 is an H-bridge motor driver. Its 2.5V to 14V Operating Input Range 2.5V to 14V input voltage (V ) range allows the IN Up to 5A Output Current (I ) OUT device to operate from a variety of battery Full H-Bridge or Dual Half H-Bridge Driver power sources, including single-cell lithium-ion 15m Low On Resistance per MOSFET batteries, dual-cell lithium-ion batteries, and 3- Current Measurement cell to 6-cell alkaline batteries. Its low on Over-Current Protection (OCP) resistance enables it to achieve up to 5A of Under-Voltage Lockout (UVLO) Protection output current (I ) across its entire V range. OUT IN Thermal Shutdown The MP6551 can drive a brushed DC motor in Sleep Mode during Low-Power bidirectional applications or two DC motors in Fault Indication Output unidirectional, speed-controlled applications. Available in a QFN-14 (2.5mmx3mm) Package Full protection features include over-current protection (OCP), under-voltage lockout APPLICATIONS (UVLO) protection, and thermal shutdown.
