MP6600L 35V, 1.5A Stepper Motor Driver with Internal Current Sense DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP6600L is a stepper motor driver with Wide 4.5V to 35V Input Voltage Range current regulation and a built-in translator. Two Internal Full-Bridge Drivers Current sensing is internal and does not require Internal Current Sensing and Regulation external sense resistors. With high integration Low On Resistance (195m HS-FET, and a small package size, the MP6600L is a 170m LS-FET) space-saving, cost-effective solution for bipolar No Control Power Supply Required stepper motor drives. Simple Logic Interface The device operates with a supply voltage up to 3.3V and 5V Compatible Logic Supply 35V and can deliver motor currents up to 1.5A Step Modes from Full Step to Eighth-Step based on PCB design and thermal conditions. 1.5A Output Current The MP6600L can operate a bipolar stepper Automatic Current Decay motor in full-, half-, quarter-, or eighth-step Over-Current Protection (OCP) mode. Internal safety features include over- Input Over-Voltage Protection (OVP) current protection (OCP), input over-voltage Thermal Shutdown and Under-Voltage protection (OVP), under-voltage lockout (UVLO), Lockout (UVLO) Protection and thermal shutdown. Fault Indication Output Available in a QFN-24 (4mmx4mm) The MP6600L is available in a QFN-24 Package (4mmx4mm) package.
