MP7748 2x20W Stereo Single Ended Class D Audio Amplifier The Future of Analog IC Technology DESCRIPTION FEATURES The MP7748 is a Class D Audio Amplifier for Output Power at 24V VDD and 10% driving stereo speakers in single-ended THD+N configuration or a mono speaker in bridge-tied- Stereo SE configuration: 20W per channel load configuration. It is fully integrated audio into 4 load amplifier which dramatically reduces solution Mono BTL configuration: 50W into 6 size by integrating the following: load 250m power MOSFETs THD+N = 0.02% at 1W, 8 (SE) Low Noise (103V with SE configuration, Startup / Shutdown pop elimination 140V with BTL configuration) Short circuit protection circuits Switching Frequency Up to 1MHz The MP7748 is capable of delivering 20W per 9.5V to 36V Operation from a Single channel into 4 speaker in single-ended output Supply structure, or delivering 50W into 6 speaker in Integrated Startup and Shutdown Pop bridge-tied-load output structure under 24V Elimination Circuit VDD. MPS Class D Audio Amplifiers exhibit the Programmable UVP high fidelity of a Class A/B amplifier at high Thermal and Short Circuit Protection efficiencies. The circuit is based on the MPS Integrated Power FETs proprietary variable frequency topology that Available in TSSOP28-Exposed Package delivers excellent linearity, fast response time and operates on a single power supply. APPLICATIONS MP7748 features programmable VDD Portable Docking Stations shutdown voltage for each channel by Surround Sound DVD Systems controlling the UVP node voltage.
