MPM3530 55V, 3A, Step-Down Power Module DESCRIPTION FEATURES Wide 4.5V to 55V Operating Input Range The MPM3530 is an easy-to-use, fully integrated, 55V input, 3A, step-down, DC/DC Efficiency up to 92.3% power module. The MPM3530 integrates a Adjustable, Wide Output Voltage: 1V to 15V monolithic DC/DC converter, power inductor, Programmable Switching Frequency with input capacitors, and the necessary resistors External SYNC Function and capacitors in a compact QFN package. The External Soft Start (SS) total power solution only requires a minimal Over-Current Protection (OCP) number of external components. High Efficiency for Light-Load Operation Over-Voltage Protection (OVP) and Thermal The MPM3530 adopts a peak-current-mode Shutdown Protection control architecture with a fast transient Power Good (PG) Indication response. This module provides over-current protection (OCP) with valley-current detection, Meet EN55022 Class B Emission which is used to prevent current runaway. The Operating Temperature Range: -40C to MPM3530 also has accurate and reliable over- 85C voltage protection (OVP) and auto-recovery Available in a QFN-47 (10mmx12mmx4mm) thermal protection. An optional external soft Package start is available, and enable and power good APPLICATIONS indicator functions are provided. To increase efficiency, the MPM3530 scales down the Industrial Power Systems switching frequency automatically when the Diagnostic Machines/Test Equipment load is light.
