The 74LVC8T245PW.118 is an 8-bit bidirectional transceiver with parity feature from Nexperia. It allows two buses, (A and B) which can be connected in any combination of two directions under control of the output enable pins (A- and B-), allowing data flow to be independently controlled in both directions. The transceiver features configurable output direction, configurable polarity of direction control and configurable output enable polarity, allowing to support both positive and active-low edge triggered enable inputs. It also has an enable input, which stops propagation of all data when active, reducing the power consumption when inactive. The parity is configurable for either even or odd parity and is checked on both buses if enabled, the outcome of the parity check is output on the PAR signal, allowing to identify a data integrity failure.
