IPG
The NXP IPG J113 and J126 are dual-channel communication transceivers designed to provide a high-speed interface between two-tx-reflexive 8b/10b encoded serial links. They are compliant with the MultiGig RT2 standard and support data rates of up to 4.25 Gbps. The transceiver provides flexibility both in terms of physical layer and data rate, allowing for easy adaptation to a range of applications. The J113 and J126 have spread spectrum clocking (SSC) options available, increasing EMI robustness and reducing EMI emissions. The integrated signal and clock de-skewing block ensures signal integrity and eliminates any signal skew between the two channels. The J113 and J126 integrate signal conditioning, such as equalization, pre-emphasis and voltage level shifting, and provide ancillary features such as lane-reversal and thermal control capabilities. In addition, the differential input frequencies, from 0.2 MHz up to 4.25 GHz, ensures an easy interfacing to a variety of physical media, including copper and optical interfaces, among others. The integrated bypass mode facilitates system power savings.
