The MMA8653FCR1 is an advanced, low-power inertial sensor device manufactured by NXP. It has an integrated three-axis programmable low-g acceleration sensor with up to 10 bit resolution for measuring acceleration in the range of 2g/4g/8g along the three axes of x, y, and z. It can measure tilt, motion, acceleration, shock, and vibration, and can also detect orientation. The integrated features such as embedded motion-triggered interrupts provide low-power, tilt-based motion detection. It can be used in a wide variety of applications such as consumer electronics, automotive systems, and industrial sensing systems.
