The PCF8563TS/5,118 is an Electronic Part manufactured by NXP that features a Real Time Clock Binary I2C 1-5V. It is an 8-pin I2C bus clock, calendar, and alarm semiconductor integrated circuit. It features a Real Time Counter with a leap year correction up to the year 2100, and a programmable countdown alarm. It has a 16-bit Clock/calendar in a simple serial two-wire bus format, and a Time/Calendar function programmed for time increments of one second. This part has an automatic power-fail detect and restart circuitry, and can detect 1.8V and 5V power supplies. It also has an I2C slave serial interface.
