The OB3398EPAP-H is a RoHS compliant 8-pin DIP switching controller manufactured by On-Bright. It is designed for use in buck-boost or step-up/down applications to provide an output voltage close to its input voltage. It has a wide input voltage range of 3.5V to 42V and can output up to 37V. The device includes an internal synchronous rectifier which enhances efficiency though low-voltage current-sense systems. It also features a low-current start-up, programmable PWM frequency, selectable current or voltage mode control, adjustable line regulation, and an adjustable soft start. Additionally, it is protected with over voltage, low-voltage, temperature, and current-sense protection.
