CAT809, CAT810 3-Pin Microprocessor Power Supply Supervisors FEATURES DESCRIPTION Precision monitoring of The CAT809 and CAT810 are P supervisory circuits +5.0 V ( 5%, 10%, 20%), that monitor power supplies in digital systems. The +3.3 V ( 5%, 10%), CAT809 and CAT810 are direct replacements for the +3.0 V ( 10%) and MAX809 and MAX810 in applications operating over the +2.5 V ( 5%) power supplies industrial temperature range. Offered in two output configurations: These devices generate a reset signal, which is asserted - CAT809: Active LOW reset while the power supply voltage is below a preset threshold - CAT810: Active HIGH reset level and for at least 140 ms after the power supply level Direct replacements for the MAX809 and has risen above that level. The underlying floating gate 2(TM) MAX810 in applications operating over the technology, AE used by Catalyst Semiconductor, industrial temperature range makes it possible to offer any custom reset threshold value. Seven industry standard threshold levels are Reset valid down to V = 1.0 V CC offered to support +5.0 V, +3.3 V, +3.0 V and +2.5 V 6 A power supply current systems. Power supply transient immunity The CAT809 features a RESET push-pull output (active Available in SOT-23 and SC70 packages with LOW) and the CAT810 features a RESET push-pull Sn or NiPdAu GREEN lead finish output (active HIGH). Industrial temperature range: -40C to +85C Fast transients on the power supply are ignored and the output is guaranteed to be in the correct state at V APPLICATIONS cc levels as low as 1.0 V. Computers The CAT809/810 are fully specified over the industrial Servers temperature range (-40C to 85C) and are available in Laptops compact 3-pin SOT23 and SC70 packages.
