FODM217D is an ultrafast, self-contained switched-mode power supply (SMPS) controller designed by ON Semiconductor. It is specifically designed for isolated flyback converters with current-mode control for power conversion applications up to about 80W.
FODM217D features a programmable leading edge blanking function, which enhances system efficiency by reducing the diode reverse recovery current, and an internal digitally-controlled soft-start circuitry. It has adjustable peak current limit and overcurrent protection. It also includes an open-loop compensation function with 7 integrated external resistors, allowing it to offer optimal transient response without the need for manual adjustment.
The FODM217D is housed in a 7-pin Mini-DIP or SOIC package, and is suitable for use in telecommunications, industrial, consumer, and lighting applications.
