This literature is subject to all applicable copyright laws and is not for resale in any manner.FODM611 High Noise Immunity, 5V, 10Mbit/sec Logic Gate Output (Open Collector) Optocoupler May 2010 FODM611 High Noise Immunity, 5V, 10Mbit/sec Logic Gate Output (Open Collector) Optocoupler Features Description High Noise Immunity characterized by common mode The FODM611 is a 5V high-speed logic gate output transient immunity (CMTi) (open collector) optocoupler, which supports isolated communications allowing digital signals to communicate 20kV/s Minimum CMTi between systems without conducting ground loops or High Speed hazardous voltages. It utilizes Fairchilds proprietary 10Mbit/sec Date Rate (NRZ) coplanar packaging technology, Optoplanar , and 100ns max. Propagation Delay optimized IC design to achieve high noise immunity, 35ns max. Pulse Width Distortion characterized by high common mode transient immunity specifications. 40ns max. Propagation Delay Skew -40 to +85C temperature range This optocoupler consists of an AlGaAS LED at the input, optically coupled to a high speed integrated photo- Safety and regulatory approvals detector logic gate. The output of the detector IC is an UL1577, 3750 VAC for 1 min. RMS open collector schottky-clamped transistor. The coupled IEC60747-5-2 (pending approval) parameters are guaranteed over the wide temperature range of -40C to +85C.
