Green Mode Power Switch FSL206MR Description The FSL206MR integrated PulseWidth Modulator (PWM) and SENSEFET is specifically designed for highperformance offline SwitchedMode Power Supplies (SMPS) while minimizing external components. The integrated PWM controller includes: a 7.8V regulator, eliminating the need for auxiliary bias winding UnderVoltage PDIP8 9.42x6.38, 2.54P CASE 646CM Lockout (UVLO) protection LeadingEdge Blanking (LEB) an optimized gate turnon/turnoff driver EMI attenuator Thermal Shutdown (TSD) protection temperaturecompensated precision current sources for loop compensation softstart during startup and PDIP8 9.59x6.6, 2.54P fault protection circuitry such as Overload Protection (OLP), CASE 646CN OverVoltage Protection (OVP), Abnormal OverCurrent Protection (AOCP), and Line UnderVoltage Protection (LUVP). The internal highvoltage startup switch and the BurstMode operation with very low operating current reduce the power loss in PDIP8 GW Standby Mode. As a result, it is possible to reach a power loss of CASE 709AJ 150 mW with no bias winding and 25 mW (for FSL206MR) or 30 mW (for FSL206MRBN) with a bias winding under noload conditions when the input voltage is 265 Vac.
