The MC34152DG is a monolithic high-side driver from ON Semiconductor. It is a high-power, high-side linear current regulator, featuring an internal charge pump. This device is designed for high-current, low-voltage, high-side applications, such as automotive and remote heavy-duty load switching. It has a continuous output current of 4.5A and a maximum peak output current of 9A. It is available in a 8-Pin PDIP package and an 8-Pin SOIC package. The MC34152DG includes thermal shutdown, under-current shutdown, over-current protection and over-temperature protection features. It also features internal diagnostics that detect open load, output short-circuit and VOUT over-voltage faults.
