The MOC3052TVM is a zero-crossing optoisolator diode with triac driver output from ON Semiconductor. It is a 6-pin DIP (Dual Inline Package) with an insulated Sn-glass package and the standard 1550 nm GaAs infrared emitting diode. It has a range of input control voltage from 4 to 32VDC, output current rating of 50mA continuous, and maximum power dissipation capability of 500mWatts. The integrated triac can be an SCR and thyristor, and has a VDRM of 400V peak. Applications for this device include phase control in AC power circuits, home automation, appliance motors, light dimmers, temperature controllers, and much more.
