The LNK306DG-TL from Power Integrations is an offline buck, buck-boost, and flyback converter IC with an operating frequency of 66 kHz. It comes in a SO-8C package and can be used in switch-mode power supplies, consumer electronic applications, industrial, LED drivers, and more. The IC features an external adjustable current limit, built-in output voltage regulation, and current-mode control that allows for simplified design and easy implementation. This IC is designed to provide high efficiency and minimal power losses. It is protected from under-voltage and over-voltage and is also protected against over-temperature.
