The TNY255GN is a high-efficiency, fixed frequency, off-line, low-power, current-mode, Emeter integrated controller manufactured by Power Integrations. It is designed for flyback power supply applications for universal input AC-line operated LED drivers. This device features a high precision current mode control loop and offers improved noise immunity and line regulation over traditional quasi-resonant architectures. It also provides precise regulation of output voltage with very low ripple noise. The operating frequency of the TNY255GN is programmable from 61kHz up to 153kHz and its quiescent current is very low (<6mA) for improved efficiency.
