Additional Infomation About Product

The TOP245YN is an offline switched-mode power supply controller/regulator made by the company Power Integrations. It is designed to operate from a universal mains input (85-265VAC) and provide an isolated output at up to 250W with up to 87% efficiency. It achieves high efficiency by using a topology called "double-ended forward" for both primary and secondary sides. The chip also features over-current, over-voltage and temperature protection and can be enabled/disabled via an external control pin. The device is widely used in consumer electronics, medical and industrial applications.
