The TOP250FN is a high-voltage monolithic synchronous rectified buck converter with current-mode control. It is designed to provide a board-level solution to convert a high-voltage AC or DC input into the mid-range (400V to 800V) DC output at low cost, with high efficiency and low cost components. It offers tight voltage regulation, fast transient response and a high current carrying capacity. The device is also capable of providing a wide output range, from 0.5V to 800V. It utilizes a high-voltage field serviceable integrated circuit and low-cost components, integrated Schottky protection, self-BiCMOS technology, built-in adaptive slope compensation and an integrated transformer driver for driving large transformers. Its output is adjustable from 0~800V DC and ±2 volt regulation is achievable. The TOP250FN is suitable for a wide range of applications including power supplies, LED lighting, motor controls, and consumer electronics.
