PSB 82/16 is a part of the Powersem family of power semiconductor components manufactured by STMicroelectronics. The PSB 82/16 is a 3-phase, High Voltage Phase Leg SCR-Diode power block. The power block is suitable for use in 3-phase motor control and other motor control applications in high-power systems. It features 6 thyristors and 6 diodes in a slim package, providing a high current rating in a space-saving package. The PSB 82/16 is rated for use up to 1600V AC and has an on-state current rating of up to 125A.
