The RF-P42D6-IPL-FT with IR transmitter is a Surface-Mount Device (SMD) optocoupler manufactured by REFOND. It is a tiny component that measures 4.2x2.8x3.3mm and has a maximum forward current of 50mA. It has an emission wavelength of 940nm and operates under 1.2÷1.4V. This optocoupler consists of 4 pins: There is an anode and a cathode, an emitter and a detector. It is used to generate, modulate, and demodulate infrared signals. It is ideal for use in Infrared Remote Control models and other similar applications requiring optical isolation.
