The RENESAS HI9P5051-9Z is a 32-bit 72 MHz microcontroller from the 78K0-LN/LP family. It features 2 KBytes of RAM, 64 KBytes of Flash, an analog-to-digital converter (ADC), a serial communication interface (SCI), an I2C bus, a serial peripheral interface (SPI), an event link controller (ELC), several counters, a timer, and several general I/O pins. To reduce power consumption, the microcontroller features low power modes such as Standby and Halt modes, as well as an on-chip oscillator. The microcontroller’s architecture is based on CISC instruction set, allowing it to reduce instruction codes.
