ISL22343 Quad Digitally Controlled Potentiometer (XDCP) Data Sheet March 13, 2008 FN6423.1 2 Low Noise, Low Power, I C Bus, 256 Taps Features The ISL22343 integrates four digitally controlled Four potentiometers in one package potentiometers (DCP), control logic and non-volatile memory 256 resistor taps on a monolithic CMOS integrated circuit. 2 I C serial interface The digitally controlled potentiometer is implemented with a - Three address pins, up to eight devices per bus combination of resistor elements and CMOS switches. At power up the device recalls the contents of the DCPs IVRi to the correspondent WRi. Wiper resistance: 70 typical 1mA The ISL22343 also has 11 general purpose non-volatile Standby current <4A max registers that can be used as storage of lookup table for Shutdown current <4A max multiple wiper position or any other valuable information. Dual power supply The ISL22343 features a dual supply, that is beneficial for - VCC = 2.25V to 5.5V applications requiring a bipolar range for DCP terminals - V- = -2.25V to -5.5V between V- and VCC. 10k, 50k or 100k total resistance Each DCP can be used as three-terminal potentiometers or as two-terminal variable resistors in a wide variety of Extended industrial temperature range: -40C to +125C applications including control, parameter adjustments, and 20 Ld TSSOP or 20 Ld QFN signal processing.
