ISL6269A Data Sheet May 30, 2007 FN9253.2 High-Performance Notebook PWM Features Controller 3 High performance R technology The ISL6269A IC is a Single-Phase Synchronous-Buck Fast transient response PWM controller featuring Intersil s Robust Ripple Regulator 3 1% regulation accuracy: -10C to +100C and (R ) technology that delivers truly superior dynamic -40C to +100C response to input voltage and output load transients. Integrated MOSFET drivers and bootstrap diode result in Wide input voltage range: +5.0V to +25.0V fewer components and smaller implementation area. Output voltage range: +0.6V to +3.3V 3 Intersils R technology combines the best features of fixed- Wide output load range: 0A to 25A frequency PWM and hysteretic PWM while eliminating many 3 Selectable diode emulation mode for increased light load of their shortcomings. R technology employs an innovative efficiency modulator that synthesizes an AC ripple voltage signal V , R analogous to the output inductor ripple current.
